Jugend Hackt (Youth Hacks)
At "Jugend hackt" in Hamburg you spend a weekend hacking, crafting and programming for your vision of a better society. Together with like-minded people, you will use Open Data to work on prototypes, digital tools and concepts for sustainable urban development, a fairer society or a more considerate approach to the environment. But you don't need to be a technology professional! And sometimes ideas only come during the weekend. The only really important thing is: we want to "improve the UM:welt (environment) with code"!
This year, the main topic of "Jugend hackt" is "IMPROVING THE UM:WELT (ENVIRONMENT)WITH CODE": Currently, many young people take to the streets to demonstrate at "Fridays for future" that they take the climate crisis and its consequences seriously. The current political climate targets - such as the German government's plan to phase out coal - still fall short. We want to take up this impulse and look forward to your visions and solutions for a better society in view of the climate crisis and its consequences. Other topics are welcome, as always!
On three exciting and eventful days you will have time to develop your own digital applications together with a small team or to work on a hardware project. No matter which idea you choose or whether your project can be implemented completely - here you have the opportunity to try something new and learn something new together with other interested people. Delicious food is provided. In addition, a great team of mentors with different skills is available to answer your questions.
The event will be held in German.
