After a customer project has been submitted, the euphoria is usually muted by one look at the actual compentsation. A commercially correct calculation of creative services is therefore particularly important if you want to be economically successful in your own creative company. Industry comparisons, correct evaluation methods and controlling instruments help to survive in competition in the daily creative business.
Using concrete calculation aids and descriptive calculation tables, the workshop will show how an order can be calculated realistically and profitably. The necessary basics such as time and cost calculations, personal hourly rates and annul budgeting are presented. Different argumentation methods, treatment of customer objections as well as the own gals and strategies for the price negotation are practiced with the other participants in role training.

Who is the speaker?
Susanne Diemann is an independent designer with many years of experience in product and interior design. She develops room concepts and interior decorations for corporate events and photo shoots. her clients are companies in the private sector, magazin publishers and agencies in the advertising and PR sector. Since 2008 Susanne Diemann has been mediating professional success factors dor creative professions at various universities. She regularly holds lectures and workshops with various institutions for founders and self-employed soloists in the creative industries. Susanne Diemann is admitted as an expert in the BGA Bundesgründerunnenagentur and the Hamburger Existenzgründugsinitiative and advises small companies and start-ups in the creative business.
