„Dottobeau“ is a cozy point & click adventure that allows you to control the atmosphere of the game world. Switch through different moods of music and colors to influence the emotions of the world inhabitants, solve a series of puzzles and create your own little adventure.
Choose your atmosphere!
As Beau, you help your best friend Dotto leave their home planet to start a journey through space. While you are working through her packing list, you get your hands on a magical artifact that lets you control the atmosphere of the game world. Switch between different music and color moods to navigate through a series of tasks and puzzles. By changing the atmosphere, you also play with the emotional state of the other planet’s inhabitants, which may help you pick up a valuable puzzle tip or two - or stumble upon other secrets?! In Dottobeau, the journey is the destination. So let your curiosity run wild and see where it takes Beau!
The Team
The team behind Dottobeau is a mix of students with backgrounds in media informatics, illustration and audio production. During their studies at HAW Hamburg, the four members Josie Steuernagel (Code, Game Design, Management), Niklas Loose (Sound Design/Music, Management), Rae Ginkul (Art, Narrative) and Yannick Clausen (Music, Code) got to know each other at small game jams and enjoyed working together. Soon after, in the summer of 2022, they started working on the game idea that evolved into Dottobeau.
