Neue Website der gamecity:Hamburg gestartet, Bier und Fisch auf der Gamescom. Pünktlich zur Gamescom 2017 ist seit heute die neue Webseite der Standortinitiative gamecity:Hamburg online. Auf der komplett neu gestalteten Website, informiert das Branchennetzwerk wesentlich übersichtlicher und umfassender über die Aktivitäten der Spieleindustrie in Hamburg.

Im Branchenguide lassen sich jetzt schnell und einfach die rund 200 Unternehmen vor Ort finden und sich durch eine hilfreiche Kategorisierung nach Tätigkeitsschwerpunkten zusätzlich sortieren. Der Firmeneintrag mit den Basisinformationen ist kostenlos und wird von der gamecity:Hamburg kontinuierlich als Service gepflegt. Zusätzlich haben die Firmen die Möglichkeit ihr Unternehmen mit einem Premiumeintrag detailliert vorzustellen. Neben dem Gamecity Treff werden die zahlreichen Veranstaltungen am Standort Hamburg im neuen Eventbereich zukünftig fortlaufend aktualisiert. Vom Hamburger Indietreff über Meetups bis hin zu Fachveranstaltungen sind hier alle Events, die für die lokale Spieleindustrie von Bedeutung sind, zu finden. Aktuelle Meldungen aus der gamecity:Hamburg liest man ab sofort im Newsbereich. Bei den redaktionellen Inhalten wird es innerhalb der Seite eine Mischung von englischen und deutschen Artikeln geben. Die Redaktion entscheidet jeweils nach Relevanz des Inhalts die Sprache.

„Mit einer modernen klaren Webseite wollen wir unsere Leser besser über die Unternehmen vor Ort informieren und die Firmen bei ihrer Sichtbarkeit unterstützen. Gleichzeitig haben wir mit dem Eventbereich eine zentrale Anlaufstation geschaffen, wo sich alle relevanten Games-Veranstaltungen in Hamburg finden lassen“, erläutert Oliver Redelfs, Sprecher der gamecity:Hamburg, die Vorzüge des neuen Internetauftritts.

Wie jedes Jahr auf der Gamescom findet mit dem traditionellen Fischbrötchenempfang, das inoffizielle Katerfrühstück der Gamesbranche, am letzten Fachbesuchertag statt. Dieses Jahr erstmals am Donnerstag den 24. August, aber zur gewohnten Zeit um 12 Uhr am Gemeinschaftsstand der gamecity:Hamburg in Halle 3.2, Stand B-015. Wir freuen uns, in entspannter Atmosphäre mit unseren Gästen bei Astra Bier und Fischbrötchen auf eine erfolgreiche Gamescom 2017 anzustoßen.

Prototype Funding 2022: 398,000 euros for six projects from Hamburg

In the 2022 funding round of the Gamecity Hamburg Prototype Funding program the awarding committee decided to fund six prototypes for digital games by Hamburg-based devs and studios with a total of 398,000 euros. Congratulations to all recipients - we are already excited to see all projects grow and take up speed!
