Successful third Pitch Level Up 2024 in SPACE Hamburg

For the third time, about 80 participants were able to gain valuable expert knowledge from our talks at our Pitch Level Up event and review and optimize their pitch decks and pitches for their game projects in 1:1 feedback sessions.

What is important when pitching? What belongs in a pitch deck? On February 16, our attendees were able to get all these questions answered at the location SPACE in the Hamburg Speicherstadt. 80 developers, students, and anyone interested attended Pitch Level Up to gain important know-how and exchange experiences.

The talk program included presentations by Moritz Klein (Game Producer, Kalypso Media Group GmbH), Manny Hachey (Senior Project Manager); Jerome Zenker, (Business Development Manager, Assemble Entertainment), André Bernhardt (Indie Advisor), Volha Kapitonava (Game Producer), Amanda Förtsch (Project Manager Gamecity Hamburg).

The 1:1 meetings helped the teams and devs improve their pitches

In the heart of the event, the 1:1 feedback sessions, the teams, and devs were able to receive honest feedback from our experts, valuable for the future pitch plans of the teams and developers:

Steffen Rühl (Business Development Consultant specialized in the games industry), Valentina Birke (Director Indie Arena Booth at Super Crowd Entertainment), Timm Geyer (Independent consultant, specialized in the games industry), Kristin von der Wense (Publishing Producer at Daedalic Entertainment), Margarete Schneider (Project Manager at Gamecity Hamburg and Games Lift Incubator), Dennis Schoubye (Head of Gamecity Hamburg and member of the Prototype Funding Committee), Jerome Zenker (Business Development Manager at Assemble Entertainment), André Bernhardt (Consultant specialized in the games industry), Søren Lass (Business Development Consultant).

The experts gave feeback, tips and insights to the attendees.

The feedback will help the devs to improve their pitch decks and to continue working on their ideas.

Many thanks go out to our experts, speakers, the participants, and everyone who made this day an unforgettable experience! Click through the photo gallery for more wonderful impressions:
